Terms of Service
Effective date: June 4, 2026
1. About this site & acceptance
This website is an advertisement operated on behalf of the cosmetic surgery practice of Dr. Sean Satey, MD, FACS ("the Practice," "we," "us"). By accessing this site or submitting the consultation request form, you agree to these Terms of Service and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the site.
2. Eligibility
This site and its services are intended for adults 18 years or older who are legally able to enter into these Terms. By using the site you represent that you meet these requirements.
3. Not medical advice; no doctor–patient relationship
The information on this site is general and for educational purposes only. It is not medical advice, is not a substitute for a professional evaluation, and does not create a doctor–patient relationship. Any decision about a procedure should be made in a private consultation after an individual assessment by a qualified physician. In a medical emergency, call 911.
4. About Dr. Satey's credentials
Dr. Sean Satey is a fellowship-trained cosmetic surgeon who is board-certified in general surgery by the American Board of Surgery. References on this site to "board certified" mean certification by the American Board of Surgery. Dr. Satey is not represented as a plastic surgeon certified by the American Board of Plastic Surgery.
5. No guarantee of results
Cosmetic and surgical procedures carry risks, and outcomes depend on each person's anatomy, health, and healing. Individual results vary, and no specific result is promised or guaranteed. Any photographs, descriptions, or testimonials, where shown, are illustrative and are not a prediction of your outcome.
6. Pricing, offers & insurance
Any prices, financing references, or offers shown are estimates and are subject to change without notice; final pricing is determined at consultation. The $100 consultation fee is credited toward your procedure only if you choose to proceed with a procedure. Where a procedure may be eligible for insurance coverage, coverage depends on your individual plan and its medical-necessity criteria and is never guaranteed; acceptance of insurance does not guarantee coverage of any specific procedure.
7. Consultation requests are not a contract for services
Submitting the form is a request for a consultation, not a booking, a diagnosis, or a contract for medical services. We will contact you to discuss scheduling. Please do not submit sensitive medical details through the form (see the Privacy Policy).
8. Consent to communications (calls, texts, email)
By submitting the form, you consent to be contacted by the Practice at the phone number and email you provide — including by phone call, text message (SMS), and email, and including by automated technology where applicable — regarding your consultation request. Consent to receive marketing communications is not a condition of any service. Message and data rates may apply; reply STOP to opt out of texts or use the unsubscribe link in emails. See the Privacy Policy for details.
9. Acceptable use & intellectual property
You agree not to misuse the site, interfere with its operation, attempt unauthorized access, or submit false information. The content, branding, text, images, and materials on this site are owned by the Practice or its licensors and may not be copied, modified, or reused without permission.
10. Third-party links & services
This site links to the Practice's main website and relies on third-party services (such as Google and Cloudflare) described in our Privacy Policy. We are not responsible for the content, policies, or practices of third-party websites or services.
11. Accessibility
We strive to make this site accessible and usable for people of all abilities and to work toward conformance with recognized accessibility guidelines. If you encounter a barrier, please contact us at (424) 500-3320 and we will work to provide the information or assistance you need.
12. Disclaimer of warranties
The site is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, whether express or implied, including implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. We do not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or secure.
13. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Practice and its owners, staff, and service providers will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss arising from your use of this informational site. Nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have as a patient under applicable law or the standard of care, which are addressed in the clinical setting, or excludes liability that cannot be excluded by law.
14. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Practice from claims and expenses arising out of your misuse of the site or your violation of these Terms or applicable law.
15. Governing law & venue
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of California, without regard to its conflict-of-laws rules. You agree that any dispute relating to the site or these Terms will be brought in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you consent to their jurisdiction.
16. Changes & severability
We may update these Terms from time to time; material changes are reflected by a new effective date above, and continued use means you accept the revised Terms. If any provision is found unenforceable, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
